The Lord expects us to minister to others by sharing our marriage restoration testimonies when He works to restore our marriages, because it greatly encourages others who are in the midst of the battle and may need to be reminded that Satan’s time is short, and that their day of rejoicing will come, because of God’s awesome promise that we will overcome him by the blood of Christ and by the word of our testimony, as we see in Revelation 12:10-12, which says Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”

What awesome and encouraging scripture verses! While John 10:10 warns us that Satan comes only to steal and kill and destroy, we see in these verses that we can literally access the authority of Christ to hurl him down and to overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. It seems totally inconceivable that the word of our testimony could ever be equated with the blood of Christ in ANY way, yet that is what this scripture says. That’s why it is SO important to share and rejoice with others when the Lord gives us victory over the work of the Devil by restoring our marriages, and why we provide a special section of the FAM Fellowship website for restored marriage testimonies.
